
William Horn will present his math senior seminar Tuesday, April 14, 4:30 p.m. in Patterson 301 focusing on the application of Markov chains to the popular board game
RISK. His talk will look at the probability of winning a territory given the size of the defending army and size of the attacking army. By analyzing the results, he will answer to the question, "When should I attack?"
