Ashland University Theatre alumna Karen Vuranch returns to her roots this week as she makes her eighth appearance within the eighteen year history of Ashland Chautauqua. For this year's 5-day event themed Voices of Courage, she is portraying labor activist Mother Jones slated for Thursday, July 20 at 8 p.m. at the Myers Memorial Band Shell in Brookside Park. The event is free and open to the public.
