Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery is hosting an exhibition titled “Picturing the Past: Highlights from the Ashland University Permanent Collection” that features a selection of artwork from the Myers Collection curated by AU Associate Professor Dr. Wendy Schaller. An opening reception which is free and open to the public will be held Thursday, Jan. 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the exhibition runs through Feb. 23.
The 17 historical paintings featured in the exhibition span a period of 500 years of art historical development representing the styles of a number of important schools and geographic locations both European and American. Read more at news.ashland.edu
