Brian Hoffman, Esq., will speak about America's refugee crisis on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Ridenour Room at the Dauch College of Business of Economics. He will explain what the law says, how the government is breaking it and what we can do to help.
After working in Governor Ted Strickland's office before practicing law in Columbus, Brian left Ohio to become Lead Attorney on the CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project based at the family detention center in Dilley, Texas - the largest immigration detention center in the U.S. He is now one of two Ohio-licensed attorneys who are Ohio Supreme Court certified court interpreters.
