Mastodon Excavation Update

Dr. Nigel Brush, Associate Professor of Geology, has been leading a mastodon excavation near Bellville, Ohio, which was featured in a Columbus Dispatch article and video.  Dr. Brush, a team of AU students and volunteers are spending their Saturdays at the site.  Archaeology Magazine, a publication of the Archaeological Institute of America, also ran a feature about Dr. Brush and the excavation.
