The Ashland Center for Nonviolence at Ashland University and the Ashland County Mental Health and Recovery Board are co-sponsoring a film screening and discussion of the film “Is Anybody Listening?” The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held Sept. 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center Auditorium. Filmmaker Dr. Paula Caplan will be on-site to facilitate a discussion on her “Welcome Johnny and Jane Home project,” which helps to welcome veterans back into our communities by listening to their stories one-on-one.
